Elie Saab

I am head over heels for anything remotely related to do with Elie Saab. Elie Saab is a Lebanese fashion designer who also works in Paris & Milan. If anyone has seen any of his creations you will know why i'm expressing my passion about his dresses so much!

Everything about his creation are just fabulous. His intricate detailing is what gets me buzzing when i see his creations on the red carpet worn by loved celebrities from Beyonce to Taylor Swift to Ashwariya Rai ! In 2010 he dressed 103 international celebrities! He also makes dresses for Royal families.

Here are a few pictures.

Lydia Makeup brush

Helloooooo!

This is going to be a super quick review of a LyDia professional makeup brush. I needed a blusher/contour/bronzer brush. I didnt feel like spending sooo much on an expensive ones (some ridiculously go up to £30) - Seeing as i dont like to wear A LOT of blush or dont contour too much i though a nice cheapish one would be fine.

I was in for a surprise! I ordered a LyDia makeup brush which retailed at £3.19 on eBay!!!!!!!!!  (free P&P) and it is absolutely amazing. The bristles feel so soft on my skin but firm enough to get the blush etc exactly where i need it. I love it so much. I will defo be ordering another one if anything happens to this brush!

I ordered a " LyDia professional long powder angled blusher make-up brush F-09N"

Here is the link! Be sure to order it, its awesome!

Tresemmé VS GHD heat protection spray

Hello boys & girls. Im just going to do a little blog on heat protection for hair. I have two heat protection sprays, ones Tresemmé heat protection styling spray and the other one i have is GHD thermal protector which is basically heat protector.

When using heated products on the hair such as curling tongs or flat irons, our hair will  one day get damaged. There is not a product in the world that can stop hair damage 100%

GHD thermal protector

The first product i use and love is the GHD hair care product. Firstly it smells absolutely divine! This is just another reason why i spray it on because it makes my hair smell yummy! Okay besides this other good qualities about this is that i feel that when i use this i feel that theres less static in my hair and leaves my hair feeling soft once ive finished using whatever hair styling equipment!! The spray sprays in a sort of mist way and not in one direct spot. This is great because i have thick hair and it means i get an even coverage without keep on having to respray! It definitely reduces any flyaways that i usually get when i use this. People noticed that my hair left a shine! WOW! Now thats extra results ;) The ONLY downside i have to this is that i cant see how much product is left. I wish it was a see through bottle.

I brought mine from eBay for about £15.

Tresemmé heat defence styling spray

The second product is the Tresemmé heat defence styling spray. This also smells absolutely gorgeous! I always relay between the two sprays when using them because they both smell so so so lovely and fresh & sweet. Just like GHD spray it keeps my hair looking shiny, bouncy and healthy whenever i finish doing my hair. My hair usually frizzes/curls when it gets humid and this DEFO stops that from happening. This is a plus point over the GHD spray. I feel the GHD spray doesnt do that for my hair. Its NOT at all sticky or messy or it doesnt leave my hair feeling greasy when spraying it and just like the GHD spray its misty and sprays evenly across your hair. My hair feels great when using this spray.

This retails at £4.89 from Boots, which is where i purchased from (much cheaper than GHD spray and considering i had to buy the GHD one online too!)

Whats the verdict? Well to be fair both products i feel do the same thing. Tresemmé i feel has 1+ point which is it stopped my hair getting fizzy/curly when it got humid. I think that there is quite a big price gap between the two. If i was to purchase these again, i would defo just get the Tresemmé spray. Its cheaper, does a bit more and covers all the bases of what the GHD spray does!

Let me know what you think x

Vaseline AloeVera Moisturiser review

Has anyone seen/heard about Vaseline Aloe Vera Moisturiser???
Gorgeous smelling Aloe Vera Hydrating body moisturiser at 200ml!

Let me just say: I AM IN LOVE

I absolutely love this product, in fact im head over heels for this! This is a Aloe Vera fresh moisturising body gel with 100% Natural Aloe Vera.

This product is made particularly to leave the skin feeling fresh and hydrated. The product is so smooth and silky and when you apply it to your skin it feels as though your bodys hungry for this product as it feels as though your body just soaks the product in.

It DOESN'T leave the skin feeling sticky or messy. Its NOT thick or gloopy when applying onto your skin. Its NOT hard to rub into your skin (for example when you have to sit and rub a cream in for minutes before you feel like you can put your clothes on lol)

This products smells absolutely heavenly. If you havent smelt or felt fresh Aloe Vera... It smell exactly like this product. At home we grow Aloe Vera Plant, and the smell and the look of whats in the leaf of Aloe vera is soooooo similar to whats in this bottle. It glides onto your skin with ease and it really leaves your body feeling soft and fresh. It feels very light and soaks into your skin so easily.

It doesnt say HOW to apply it on. But i like to apply it onto my skin after i've had a shower. I towel dry myself so im not completely dry and then i use this product. Its a lovely moisturiser and ive already brought another two bottles (on sale lolololol). I would definitely recommend this product.
It smells heavenly, its light and looks/feels just like Aloe Vera from the plant!

I picked mine up from Boots and it retails at £2.99! This is a very friendly price for 200ml. It lasts for a decent amount of time too!

Try it out and let me know if you agree with me!! :)

Mac Lipstick Review

Kim K is absolutely rocking Mac- Girl about Town.
She looks so pretty! The colour is so cheeky & different

Hey girlies (and guys if youre interested lol), Im just going to do a quick review on a lipstick i brought a few weeks ago. Its by Mac - Girl About Town. This is a really gorgeous lipstick. Its bright, its fun, its great for when youre going out in the evening. Well for me anyway as i dont like to wear too bright colours on my lips during the day.

The colour is just so gorgeous, a very lovely Fushia Pink!

The lipstick applies on very smoothly and the pigment is great, a little goes a long way. I generally like to add a dap of Lipgloss or Vaseline to give it a hint of shine & also because i love rubbing my lips together LOL!

Some lipsticks look different when applied onto the skin
but Girl About Town looks exactly the same from on the stick
to on my skin, applies smoothly!

I brought a lipliner to apply first because i think it gives the lips a better coverage and its good to get into the corners of your mouth. Because its a bright pink you dont want to miss places, it would look silly!!

Sorry about the packaging, i found it at the bottom of my bag lol

I picked mine up from Selfridge's London & it retailed at £14.00

I think this lipstick is really really cute & fun! I wore it out to a pre dinner party with my friends and i loved it. I think its the kind of lipstick that you could wear when your outfit is simple and you just need a pop of colour to brighten up your whole look!

I think Red lipstick is used way too often and wondering around central london you will see so many women wearing red lipstick, and although Red is such a great colour, I think that you should just break  out of the mould. This bright Fushia Pink Lipstick is the way forward.

Its not a colour I would wear on my lips every single day or often, but when i do, i feel so chirpy and happy, bright colours definitely put you in a good mood. I will be re-buying if this Lipstick runs out!!!

What do you think of it??
Sorry the pictures gone fuzzy!

Lemon cleansing

Hey guys & girls, basically ive been doing a 7 day lemon-water cleansing routine! It is absolutely awesome. It has been around for quite a while and my mum used to do it, and her mum. There are so many benefits of just 3 simple products you could find in your kitchen!

These 3 things are
1) Lemon
2) Water
3) Honey

Lemons have an amazing antiviral and antibacterial compound. The Egyptians believed that Lemon held many healing powers and i guess they were right! Lemons hold Vitamin-C, Calcium, Magnesium and so many other beneficial things that are good for our body.

We are all aware of the benefits of water!

Honey is described as "liquid gold." It has minerals such as magnesium, sulphur, phosphate and others!t is antibacterial & anti fungal. It holds vitamins such as B1, B2, B3, B5, B6.

Boil water, add two teaspoons of honey and two table spoons of Lemon juice (fresh) and mix, voila! Easy and quick, have it instead of a cup of coffee in the morning, or even before you sleep!
